Happy Spring, Happy Friday, and Happy Easter my babes! I was knocked out with the flu last week, but I'm back to continue the Coachella countdown with a look I'll be bringing to the festival this year. Truth time: I am (obviously) a huge hippie/bohemian, yet I have never worn a flower crown before I pulled this look together. It's the cutest thing on the planet, so I don't know what my problem was and lesson learned. This sweet little daisy one is by Scunci. I have a few more I'll be breaking out as we get deeper into spring!
What else is on my spring must-have list? Cropped tees and maxi skirts. I'm from a hot place and I live in a hot place, but I can't take the heat - especially Palm Springs/Indio 110 degrees and no breeze heat. Spring is going to melt into summer and you're going to be so happy if you stocked up on well ventilated fashion like I have. I also like the lengthening illusion created by pairing a short top with a long bottom. Legs for dayssssss. As you know, I consign like crazy and I'm also kind of lazy so finding ThredUp was amazing! It's online consignment heaven with every brand you want, I got this Madewell cropped tee for $13. I also got a dope Wang tank top for the same price, that look will be coming to the blog soon!
I'm never without a purse, and it takes just the right bag to survive a music festival! Very much digging this drawstring baby Ukiah bag from The Sak. Sidenote: The Sak was the first designer handbag brand I saved up my own money to buy when I was a preteen. My mom still carries that bag! I love the color - goes with anything. I love the crossbody strap - wear it and forget it. I love that it has a snap closure and a drawstring - keep shady people out of your bag and away from your personal belongings. The size is perfect for toting around - not enough room for it to get cumbersome, but big enough for the essentials plus snacks and water. Let's be honest, snacks and water are always a plus!
Stay tuned for a new festival look next week!
